The software allows for the creation of user defined assessment forms that can be linked to a portal product and a matter type which in turn allows authenticated users the ability to complete and submit these approved forms via the portal.

These user defined forms are highly flexible and allow the specification of the following attributes:

• user text for category headings
• user text for questions within each category heading
• user text for examples for each question (if required)
• user text for response for each question (if required)
• pre-determined ratings from a drop-down list for each question (if required)

Custom forms can also be developed for the cases where the user defined assessment form does not provide sufficient details for a category.

The system will save the details of the data entry while the user is entering the form. The user can leave the portal and return at a later date to continue the data entry without having to re-key previously entered data. This process can be repeated until the form is ready for submission. Once the form is submitted, updates to the form are not permitted. The portal host (and any other defined recipients) receive an email notification at this point that the form has been submitted so they can commence their review process.

The software will also display a history of previously submitted forms for the user in the navigation pane. These forms can be printed if required. Review comments can also be added to the submitted form by the portal host which in turn can be read by the user. The current workflow status is also recorded in this display so the user can also see how the portal host is progressing in processing the form.
